Celebrate your special Valentine with this sweet and simple 8x8 Valentine ’s Day page. If you don’t sew try adding hand stitching to your pages markers such as ZIG memory system
Instructions
STEP 1:
Begin with an 8x8 square of black cardstock as your base. Adhere a strip of pink cardstock to the right side, leaving a strip of black peeking out to the right. Use a circle cutter to cut a circular edge on one side of the white cardstock. Adhere white cardstock to the page.
STEP 2:
Machine stitch along the curved edge of the white cardstock. If you don’t sew, add a decorative zigzag line with an archival pigment ink marker.
STEP 3:
Mat photo with black and pink cardstock and adhere to page.
STEP 4:
Print title and journaling onto white cardstock and adhere to page. To create the look shown, use a text box in your word processing program. Change the background of the text box to black and the text to pink.
STEP 5:
Embellish with stickers. Now your simple 8x8 Valentine’s Day page is complete!
