Get your kids involved in working toward better behavior with this interactive behavior chart! Frogs hop from lily pad to lily pad on this magnetic frog behavior chart board as they work their way toward the top of the board. Change out the stickers for any character or animal to match your child's décor.
Cover thin piece of metal with patterned paper. Round corners if desired and ink around all edges with brown ink. Mat on thin mat of orange cardstock and ink with brown chalk ink. You can buy a thin piece of metal at a home improvement store or go to a dollar store and find a locker wipe-off board. If you prefer not to use the metal, attach patterned paper to a piece of corkboard and back your frogs with thumbtacks rather than magnets.
Mat the embellished metal piece on a piece of chipboard covered with yellow-green cardstock. Round corners and ink with brown ink. Drill holes in sides of metal piece with drill and insert brads for added stability.
Punch out orange and light yellow-green oval shapes from cardstock. Ink around edges with brown chalk ink. Layer light yellow-green piece on top of orange and add to board as shown. Add a branch and flower stickers.
Cut out letters from brown cardstock to spell "HOP to the TOP", or use alphabet stickers. Add letters to a strip of patterned paper matted on orange and adhere to top of project.
Cut out two sets of numbers from 0-5 from brown cardstock, or use number stickers. Add the numbers to each side of the chart.
Add cardstock to the middle of each frog sticker to make them sturdier. Use powder on any edges of frog that are still sticky to deactivate adhesive. Adhere a magnet to back of each frog to complete your magnetic frog chore chart.
