This three dimensional birthday box centerpiece can be tailored to almost any occasion by simply changing the stamped images
Download the assembly diagrams and refer to them when constructing the pop-up box.
Refer to diagram A to cut and score a 4.25 x 11 inch piece of light green cardstock.
Randomly stamp the circle frame and the sentiment on the entire piece of cardstock.
Use a scallop edge circle die to cut a circle from the floral print paper. If you do not have a scallop edge circle die, cut a 3.75 inch circle with your circle cutter and scallop the edges with a corner rounder if desired.
Cut a 3.25 inch circle from green print paper and stamp the circle frame on it.
Cut a 2 x 2.75 inch rectangle from light green cardstock. Sandwich the rectangle between the two circles as shown in diagram B and adhere them together.
Cut a 1 3/8 inch circle from light green cardstock and stamp “Happy Birthday” on it. Attach the image in the center of the circle frame using adhesive foam circles.
Working along the score lines, fold one side of the long rectangle as shown in diagram C. Run a strip of double sided tape along the inside 1inch section.
Insert the rectangle/circles, then fold the other end of the long rectangle along the score lines and secure the inside 1 inch section to the double-sided tape (diagram D).
Wrap a piece of mint/floral ribbon around the front section of the box and tie the ends in a knot. Cut and knot two pieces of mint grosgrain ribbon around the knot in the mint/floral ribbon.
Fold the box flat to insert it in an envelope. Now that you’ve completed this birthday box centerpiece, you can make one for baby showers, anniversary parties or even your wedding!
