This mini suitcase album is a great way to highlight pictures from your last vacation and makes a great little display to leave out on your coffee table!
Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut a piece of black cardstock that is 6.5 x 9 inches for album cover. Score at 4 3/8 inches and 4 5/8 inches. Round all corners with large rounder.
STEP 2:
Use square punch to punch out the center of two 3 x 3 inch pieces of black cardstock. Trim .25 inch off of all four sides and round corners. Adhere inside suitcase piece to make handles.
STEP 3:
Cut a 12 x 12 inch piece of cardstock in half. Score each of these every 4 inches and fold accordion style Adhere the two strips together and affix to inside right side of album.
STEP 4:
Cut a 4 x 6 inch piece of blue cardstock for inside cover. Add smaller solid gold mat. Fold and adhere a small piece of rust ribbon on bottom right. Add triangular words sticker over ribbon and debossed sticker to top left side. For inside pages, note that all mats on are 5.75 x 3.75 inches.
STEP 5:
Page 1 - Cut mat from patterned paper. Punch out square from blue cardstock and cut in half on the diagonal. Add as photo corners.
STEP 6:
Page 2 - Add mat using solid paper. Form pocket with striped patterned paper and a thin strip of blue solid at top. Tag is blue solid paper matted on cardstock. Add word circle stickers to front and back at top of tag to make tag pull.
STEP 7:
Page 3 - Tie knot in small piece of rust ribbon and attach to page as shown. Add “seatbelt” sticker close to top of ribbon.
STEP 8:
Page 4 - Mat is blue solid paper. Attach camera sticker and three small punched circles to bottom left.
STEP 9:
Page 5 - Mat is patterned paper. Add two small strips of rust solid paper and add stamp stickers over them.
STEP 10:
Page 6 - Attach gold icons patterned paper and “see the world” sticker.
STEP 11:
Page 7 - Background is stripes paper. Tie knots in 2 small pieces of ribbon and adhere over corner of small gold and small blue photo mats.
STEP 12:
Page 8 - Adhere solid blue paper and add “lush landscape” sticker as shown.
STEP 13:
Page 9 - Adhere patterned paper to background. Mat strip of solid blue paper on blue cardstock. Add small metal tag. Add small rust mat and letters to spell “TOUR”.
STEP 14:
Finish project by matting strip of striped paper on blue cardstock and adhering across lower portion of outside of suitcase. Add “beautiful memories” sticker on strip as shown. Add large metal tag as shown so the tab will fit through the handle to “close” the suitcase.
