Recycle an old, wool sweater into a cozy book bag.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Wash and dry 100% wool sweater in hot water.
STEP 2:
Cut the shape of the bag using the template as your guide.
STEP 3:
Turn the bag inside out and sew the side seams.
STEP 4:
Sew along the handle of the bag with a zig-zag stich.
STEP 5:
Embellish the bag using sweater scraps to create your name, how the bag is going to be used, or a favorite image.
STEP 6:
Embellish the sweater pieces with embroidery thread and buttons.
