23 April 2010

The pretty and fresh colors of this invite will be sure to get your guests excited about being more “green” with a swap party.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut tag from kraft paper. Back with chipboard for stability. Cut green pattern to 3 x 4 inches and adhere to tag. Print party info on white cardstock. Trim to 2.25 x 3 inches and glue to tag.

STEP 2:

Cut blue plus paper to 0.75 x 5.25 inches. Edge one long side with punch and adhere to tag. Machine stitch around green pattern block. Wrap strip of kraft paper around tag and secure, leaving ends to mimic flower leaves.

STEP 3:

To create flower accent, punch circles from pattern paper. Distress edges using scissor blade. Crumple. Layer circles and secure with brad. Attach to tag using foam adhesive.

STEP 4:

Cut a 0.75 x 3 inch strip of blue plus paper. Fold and staple to tag top.
