Sunny days, taking our cares away…..sing with me, you know the words! What mother doesn’t, right? Sesame Street is a hit in our house and I can’t say I blame my kids—I enjoy it too. Each morning over breakfast they come alive when they see their favorite character—so much so that we are planning a vacation to Sesame Place. This autograph book will help my kids capture signatures from all their favorite
Instructions
STEP 1:
Create the base pages for your book out of cardboard.
STEP 2:
Cut white cardstock to fit just inside your base pages. Stitch around each piece of cardstock with three different colors. Adhere to the cardboard. Don’t have a sewing machine? Achieve a similar effect by doodling squiggly lines around the white cardstock with red, blue and yellow archival markers.
STEP 3:
Combine various patterned papers from the kit to create a strip. Adhere this vertically to the right hand side of the cover. Repeat for inside pages, placing the strip on the left side of left-hand pages, and the right side of right-hand pages.
STEP 4:
Punch holes in the book and fasten with binder rings. Tie coordinating ribbon onto the rings.
STEP 5:
Frame a photo with one of the decorative elements from the kit. Adhere to cover with foam circles. Add title with glitter alphabet stickers from kit.
STEP 6:
Create tabs out of patterned paper with circle punch. Punch two of the same color/pattern and adhere together front to back to create your tab.
STEP 7:
Deactivate the adhesive on the character stickers with your powdering tool. Then adhere to the tabs created in step 5 with foam circles. Adhere tabs to album pages.
STEP 8:
Finish the book with the name stickers in the kit on each page where the character is represented.
