A profusion of wonderful summer colors and coordinating stamped images make up this stunning birthday greeting.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Begin with a top-folding card base from white cardstock.
STEP 2:
Cut yellow cardstock slightly smaller than card. Stamp the sentiment in the lower right corner with black ink. Pierce two holes and add the brads in the upper left corner.
STEP 3:
Add a strip of blue cardstock just below brads. Use rotary paper piercer to create a row of holes across the strip. Use the opaque white marker to draw a line across the holes to create faux stitching.
STEP 4:
Mat patterned paper onto pink cardstock. Wrap a length of pink ribbon around the center. Tie a knot near the left side, inserting a short piece of yellow ribbon through the center of the knot. Adhere to yellow piece just below the blue strip. Adhere assembled piece to card front.
STEP 5:
Stamp the clematis rosette image on white cardstock with pink ink. Accent the image using blue and yellow inks and the blender pen. Cut out the image and adhere it to a 2 inch circle of blue cardstock. Mount that onto a square of white cardstock and adhere to card front.
STEP 6:
Stamp the freebird image on white cardstock using blue ink for the bird, green ink for the stem and leaf, and pink ink for the flower. Color the bird and flower using blue and pink inks and the blender pen. Cut out the image and glue it to the card.
STEP 7:
Use coordinating papers and stamps to decorate the envelope.
