A Spotted Canary Project by Spotted Canary Creations

9 September 2010

This cool jungle-themed lunch bag is surprisingly easy to make using wood and clear stamps. It’s sure to be the talk of the school cafeteria!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Stamp Lunch Time on the front of the flat folded paper bag using black ink.

STEP 2:

Using green ink, randomly stamp the palm leaves on a strip of light green cardstock that measure approximately 1 1/2 inches high x the width of the bag. Cut out along the upper edge of the palm leaves and glue the strip along the bottom of the bag.

STEP 3:

Stamp two more palm leaves on light green cardstock with green ink. Cut out the images close to the outer stamped edge and glue one along each side of the bag.

STEP 4:

Blend inks on the stamp pad and stamp the animal images on white cardstock. Cut out the images close to the outer stamped edge. For the giraffes, cut out the head and part of neck only.

STEP 5:

Secure the images to the lunch bag using glue at the base and foam Adhesive Square at the top of each animal.

STEP 6:

Punch two orange circles for eyes and glue to giraffe heads. Add black gemstones to the giraffes and the toucan.
