A Spotted Canary Project by Studio Pink

13 April 2010

Stamp onto transparencies and then layer to create an awe-inspiring dimensional card. Choose a sentiment to match any occasion.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut cardstock to size of desired card; use bone folder to score and fold in half.

STEP 2:

Cut a window onto the brown dot patterned paper.

STEP 3:

Create a border inside the window using the red patterned paper.

STEP 4:

Adhere old book paper inside of the window in the card.

STEP 5:

Stamp all images on transparencies and dry with embossing heat gun. It is important to dry each stamped image with the heat gun before stamping the next to prevent smearing of the ink. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT HEAT IT TOO LONG! Transparencies can melt. Make sure you are stamping on the tacky (printable) side of the transparency so the ink will stick to it.

STEP 6:

Cut each stamped image out and place a 3D-Dot between each layer.

STEP 7:

Thread embroidery floss through button and adhere to center of flower with a 3D-Dot

STEP 8:

Create a stem with ribbon and make a bow to form leaves.

STEP 9:

Stamp sentiment onto tag and ink edges. Thread tag onto ribbon or attach with a jump ring.
