Mimic the glistening beauty of sandy beaches by stamping with shimmery metallic inks and topping with sprinkles of glitter.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Use blue dot paper for background.
STEP 2:
Adhere strip of blue pattern paper at an angle, towards left of layout.
STEP 3:
Mat (one) 4x6 inch and (three) 2x3 inch photos on red pattern paper. Mat large photo again on gray paper. Adhere to background.
STEP 4:
Punch daisy scallop border along edge of gray paper. Punch Chinese knot chain from blue pattern paper, and large scallop border from cream paper. Cut gray punched paper 2-1/2 x 12 inches, and layer additional punched borders on it. Add red circle punches between each large scallop.
STEP 5:
Cut (two) 1 x 12 inch strips of light blue paper. Lightly crinkle in hands and form pleated border, adhering strips together and cutting off any excess you may have. Adhere to punched layers.
STEP 6:
Stamp Sketches Coral onto cream paper three times, using Platinum, Blue Ice, and Copper inks.
STEP 7:
Use Platinum image as your base, and cut around stamped image.
STEP 8:
Cut around coral and shells on Blue Ice stamped image, and adhere to base with adhesive foam dots.
STEP 9:
Cut around sea shells on Copper stamped image, and adhere to blue image with adhesive foam dots. Set stamped image aside.
STEP 10:
Stamp sandcastle onto cream paper two times, using Glam Gold ink. Cut around stamped image to form base.
STEP 11:
Cut around sandcastle in second stamped image, and adhere to base with adhesive foam dots.
STEP 12:
Lightly apply glue to both stamped images and apply glitter in coordinating colors.
STEP 13:
For title, stamp words only (from clear stamp image) onto a three-inch circle cut from tan paper. Adhere sandcastle stamped image below title, and adhere circle to page as shown.
STEP 14:
Adhere coral stamped image below photo. Punch photo corner from cream paper, mat on blue paper, glitter and adhere to upper right corner of photo. Handwrite journaling on cream paper and cut into strips. Adhere.
