Decorate your sweet little one’s room (or any other)with a handmade mobile. This flower mobile is easy to create and will light up the room. It also makes an inexpensive and impressive gift!
You can punch any shape and emboss it to give it a richer feel or more texture like I did here with the flower centers. You just ink your entire image and, powder it and then heat set it.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Tie ribbon around an embroidery hoop, tie one long piece from side to side to use to hang your mobile from.
STEP 2:
Tie strands of thread to the hoop.
STEP 3:
Punch out flowers and stamp each one to add dimension.
STEP 4:
Punch out flower centers and then heat emboss each one with embossing ink and iridescent powder.
STEP 5:
Adhere flowers to thread, one on each side. Add centers to each side. Fold petals to create more movement in your mobile. NOTE: I punched two of each flower and attached them off center the other and then bent the petals. By doing this you make something one dimensional have more dimension and movement as it hangs.
STEP 6:
Finish by tying ribbon under each flower.
