The old-fashioned images of the little boy and girl are perfect for sending a genuine wish for someone’s special day.  Follow along to create this fun Birthday Stamps Card in a snap!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut black cardstock and fold to create a 4” x 8” card when folded in half horizontally.

STEP 2:

Stamp boy and girl wood block images on polka dot patterned papers with black ink. Trim, ink edges, and mat with pink cardstock. Ink edges of pink cardstock.

STEP 3:

Color hats using watercolor markers. Add colored gems to tops. Stamp two more images, color, and cut out hats. Adhere over the top of hat image on first image to create a layer effect.

STEP 4:

Stamp “Make A Wish” on white cardstock using black ink. Ink edges and mat with black cardstock.

STEP 5:

Adhere boy, girl and sentiment on yellow cardstock rectangle as shown. Ink edges.

STEP 6:

Cut a piece of striped patterned paper and adhere to front of black card. Adhere yellow cardstock with images attached to center of striped paper.

STEP 7:

Punch two holes in top corners of card and thread ribbon through. Tie in a knot.

STEP 8:

Add white cardstock to inside of card for writing sentiment.

STEP 9:

Tip for Success: Stamping the images on patterned paper brings extra interest to the card.
