Make this Advanced Card for the special person in your life that’s under the weather.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Stamp bird stamp on white cardstock 2 times. Color one of the birds using colored pencils and cut out. Trim the other bird to fit on the card and ink the edges using blue ink, try to make it look like the sky in the background.
STEP 2:
Trim dark turquoise cardstock to the desired size for your card, score and fold. (my card is 5 x 7 inches)
STEP 3:
Spatter walnut ink over the front of the card and set aside to dry.
STEP 4:
Cut a strip of patterned paper and mat on the light turquoise cardstock. Attach to card as shown.
STEP 5:
Adhere colored bird over top of the other stamped bird using 3D dots. Attach to the card as shown in the example.
STEP 6:
In word processing software, create the sentiment and print on white cardstock. Print and trim, ink edges and adhere to die cut shape.
STEP 7:
Attach die cut shape to card.
STEP 8:
Stitch branch and flowers to card as shown in the example. Use seed beads for the center of the flowers. Stitch a seed bead to the center of the stamped flowers.
