Here’s a great mini memory book you can make to commemorate a special trip. It makes a great tabletop display or a terrific gift. Swap out the stamps to make this book for any occasion! It’s easy to add more pages to your starbook. Simply cut and decorate additional page sections to add more points to your star.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Embellish the top side of the mat board squares with stamps, papers, photos, etc.
STEP 2:
Place each mat board square face down on the center of a vellum square. Fold and glue the corners of the vellum over the mat board.
STEP 3:
Glue the ribbon across the covers.
STEP 4:
Fold each of the inner pages 1 inch up from the bottom to create pockets. Glue the side edges and center of the pocket.
STEP 5:
Fold each of the outer and inner pages in half, making a sharp crease.
STEP 6:
Embellish the pages with your choice of stamps, photos, or other goodies.
STEP 7:
Glue one inner page to each of the outer pages. Apply a thin bead of glue along the short edges only.
STEP 8:
Glue the outer pages together, applying glue to the entire area. Make sure your pages are in the desired order.
STEP 9:
Glue the first and last outer page to the covers.
