A Spotted Canary Project by Nicole

2 March 2011

Make your stamp jump off the page by cutting out the stamped image and layering it on top of your flat image.  This is just one of the many ways to make a one stamp one color combination grow!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut card to 51/2 inches by 41/4 inches.

STEP 2:

Cut a piece of patterned paper 1 3/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches and adhere to the card fold edge.

STEP 3:

Tie a ribbon around the card where the patterned paper and the white part of the card meet.

STEP 4:

Using sage ink, stamp one image on your card and one onto a scrap piece of white cardstock.

STEP 5:

Cut out a few of the images on your scrap piece and adhere them on top of the ones stamped directly onto your card with 3D adhesive. As a tip, I used the outer edge of the adhesive page and trimmed the border to fit.

STEP 6:

Finish with a ribbon tied into a bow.

STEP 7:

Techniques: But cutting out duplicate images and layering them you add extra dimension to your card as well as extra life to your stamps. If you want to take this card to the next level consider adding a sentiment tied to the bow, or a few gems or pearls to the page. Maybe even consider embossing your cut out images with glitter. The sky is the limit!
