Make your own heart embellishment with a standard paper punch. Adding holes to the heart is a perfect way to add brads, gems, or buttons to your heart punch. This will add texture and dimension to your project.
Instructions
STEP
1:
Using the sketch as your guide, cut 2 polka dotted patterned paper strips each measuring 1 ¼ inches wide.

Adhere the red polka dotted pieces to the card as shown in the picture.

Punch a white cardstock border and attach it to the red polka dotted strips.
STEP

Rub-on the title “Sweet Hearts” onto the bottom red polka dotted strip. Rub on the flourish and add the gems to it

5:
Punch a heart from red cardstock. Using an office punch, create holes like Swiss cheese in your heart. Punch a second heart from white cardstock. Place the red heart on top of the white heart. Add gems in each hole

6:
Use foam tape to place the punched heart on the card.
