A Spotted Canary Project by Nicole

15 October 2009

Unfortunately, cancer touches all of us in one way or another and for me the best way to learn from the challenging things we face in life is to write about them, to reflect on them and to remember them. Take time to create a layout about some of the hard things you have had to embrace in your life—it may just become one of your most cherished creations.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Print journaling onto a 12 x 12 inch sheet of patterned paper.

STEP 2:

Add a 6 x 12 inch piece of patterned paper on the opposite side.

STEP 3:

Use corner rounder to punch a scalloped edge onto a strip of a third pattern and adhere it scallop side out to the journaling on the page.

STEP 4:

Wrap a ribbon around the page between the scallop and the second pattern.

STEP 5:

Adhere chipboard letter title with 3D-Dots.

STEP 6:

Mat photos with white cardstock and adhere to page.

STEP 7:

Print our subtitle onto pink cardstock and mat with the third patterned paper you used. Adhere with 3D-Dots. Use gems at the end of each sentence.

STEP 8:

Embellish with a ribbon, heart, arrow and additional gems.
