A Spotted Canary Project by Kabby

22 April 2010

For this layout representing the sense of sight, a rainbow of ink keeps the focus what on you see in the photos. Using the colors around the edges cause the focus to be drawn into the center where the photos are placed.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Ink edges of a 12 x 12 inch white cardstock base page in rainbow colors.

STEP 2:

Adhere a 4 x 6 inch vertical photo to right‐center. Adhere a 4 x 4 inch photo to left of larger photo, lining up bottom edges.

STEP 3:

Stamp the word “RAINBOW” around top and right of larger photo.

STEP 4:

Print journaling on white cardstock and mat side edges with black.

STEP 5:

Draw lines around edges of photo areas as shown. Leave space in bottom lines and left lines to add rainbow brads. Use utility bone folder to pierce holes in layout first to make brad application easier.

STEP 6:

Apply rainbow, sun and cloud stickers in bottom left corner.
