This layout is for my son’s High School album. His album is literally full of athletic themed pages about the sports he plays. Using such elegant papers and accents on a layout for my teenage son may surprise some people. I’m not at all afraid of using beautiful elegant papers on layouts for my boys when the subject of my layout calls for that kind of look. I think a layout about a homecoming dance with a beautiful photo calls for beautiful papers. I really like how the black and white photo coordinates with the dark and light shades of grey in the patterned papers I chose to work with. I think adding a touch of black, straight line accents added just enough masculinity to make this an A-OK layout for a teenage boy’s album.
