A Spotted Canary Project by Nicole

19 February 2010

This adorable layout uses ribbon and punched vellum to replicate the whimsy of a child blowing dandelions in the wind.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Trim a piece of turquoise cardstock to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches and round edges with a large corner rounder. Then mat with a 12 x 12 inch piece of white cardstock.

STEP 2:

Cut a rectangle of patterned paper, print your journaling onto it, and adhere to the lower left side as shown.

STEP 3:

Adhere three strips of ribbon to act as stems to your flowers.

STEP 4:

Punch nine spangle flourishes out of vellum. Adhere the first directly to the cardstock, then layer two more per flower with adhesive foam circles to create your dandelion.

STEP 5:

Adhere your photos and add your title. Hand cut the words “make a” or use alphabet stickers.
