Have fun this fall with a layout that uses digital scrapbookiing.
Instructions
STEP 1:
For entire layout, ink all cardstock edges for added depth.
STEP 2:
The 11 x 11 inch print was designed within Adobe Photoshop Elements (see resources). I included the title and date directly onto the photo and added dimension using drop shadows and beveled edges. If you do not have a wide format printer, create your print in two pieces and hide the seam behind the cardstock strip in step 2.
STEP 3:
Mat the 11 x 11 print in cream cardstock and adhere to a full sheet of brown cardstock. Cut a strip of cream cardstock and tear one edge as shown. When tearing paper or cardstock it is easiest to get a nice clean look when you keep your hands nice and close together. Mat the cream strip onto green cardstock, tearing one edge of it as well. Add two strips of ribbon to the border.
STEP 4:
Adhere the border to the right hand side of the page.
STEP 5:
Mat your other photo in green and cream cardstock and adhere to the layout using adhesive foam squares.
STEP 6:
To create the journal block begin with a rectangle of cream cardstock. Tear one edge from a small strip of green cardstock and adhere to the bottom edge. Mat the block onto brown cardstock and adhere just below the smaller photo.
