Journaling is one of the most important parts of a scrapbook page. Challenge yourself to find unique ways to implement your journaling into your designs. Play with a variety of fonts and lettering styles, or simply place your journaling in unexpected places. Don’t forget the importance of adding your own handwriting to your scrapbook pages too. It is unique to you, and is a long-lasting part of you that future generations will treasure.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Trip green cardstock to 8 x 8 inches.
STEP 2:
Cut an 8 inch strip of orange cardstock and mat with pink cardstock. Adhere strip along the bottom of the green page.
STEP 3:
Cut a circle from the orange cardstock mat with pink. Adhere at the top left hand corner of the green page. Trim off any portion of the circle that extends past the edge of the page.
STEP 4:
Cut strips of orange cardstock of different lengths to create sunbeams.
STEP 5:
Mat 2 pictures onto pink cardstock; adhere along the right hand side of page.
STEP 6:
Embellish page with Caribbean Islands title sticker.
STEP 7:
Handwrite your journaling along the sunbeams.
