If you have old school photos hanging around, now is the time to pull them out! This whimsical, clear alphabet set is just what you need to make your old black and white school photos come to life on your scrapbook page. Do you still 'keep in touch' with anyone from this photo? If so, give them a call, share your layout, and reminisce about the good old days.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Using the 1 inch punch - punch out about 30 squares. (You may need a few extra.)
STEP 2:
Use as many different ink colors as you desire to create the alphabet border - stamping all of the animal alphabet letters - one on each square. Don't have colored ink pads? - Different colors of brush style markers may be used to color the clear animal alphabet.
STEP 3:
Adhere the squares to narrow dark green panels. A 12 x 12 inch paper will accommodate 10 squares across and 3 down/up. Be sure to space the squares at even intervals.
STEP 4:
Use olive green cardstock and then a larger dark brown cardstock panel to frame the photo.
STEP 5:
To create the journal panel, the elementary school's initials were used in a creative way to incorporate the basic information - grade, date and teacher. Use the chocolate inkpad along the edge of the journal panel.
STEP 6:
Assemble the layout placing the stamped alphabet panel around the edges of a 12 x 12 inch sheet of patterned paper.
STEP 7:
The photo is placed in the center with the die cuts surrounding it. The die cuts are applied with adhesive foam squares.
STEP 8:
Place the journal panel next to the alligator die cut to complete the page.
