A Spotted Canary Project by ekb

6 January 2010

Remember those that have had an influence in your life with a special scrapbook page designed just for them.  Here's a great idea for a generational scrapbook page to honor the family.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut white cardstock to 10 ½ inches x 9 ¾ inches. Stitch along left hand edge.

STEP 2:

Punch ¾ inch circles from burgundy cardstock. Glue to upper edge of white cardstock piece. Stitch to light blue background page along the three un-stitched sides. This step creates a pocket for inserting a journaling block.

STEP 3:

Cut a strip of green cardstock and scallop one long side using the edger punch. Cut a strip of striped paper to 2 inches x 12 inches. Adhere it and the green scalloped strip to the background page just below the white piece. Stitch along both long edges of the striped piece. Add photos.

STEP 4:

Cut a 4 inch number 3 from blue cardstock. Adhere it to the page as shown and embellish with an epoxy word sticker and small flowers.

STEP 5:

Embellish the rest of the page with flower stickers.

STEP 6:

Journal on white cardstock cut to approximately 5 inches x 7 inches. Add a labeled index tab to the left hand side and insert journaling block into page pocket.
