A Spotted Canary Project by InkaCatherine

24 April 2009

These Presidential Timeline flashcards are a great educational craft project. Kids learn as they create, and can then use the finished timeline as a study guide or a visual aid. They also learn internet research and typing skills as they gather and assemble presidential facts and photographs.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cut long narrow panels of red and navy blue cardstock.

STEP 2:

Locate and print presidential facts and photos. Visit the Related Resources links below for our informational sources.

STEP 3:

Trim printed facts and printed photographs slightly smaller than navy blue and red cardstock panels. Adhere each photo and fact strip to a cardstock panel.

STEP 4:

Hole punch each tag. Secure the president tags, in chronological order, to the metal ring.

STEP 5:

Tie ribbons around ring.
