A Spotted Canary Project by brushnbecky

25 March 2009

Dress up your holiday table with these simple but beautiful napkin rings made with scraps of patterned paper and dimensional stickers! Easily change out the colors for a ring to suit any occasion! Note that the materials list includes supplies for both styles.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Mat patterned paper on a slightly larger mat of contrasting cardstock. Roll into ring shape and adhere ends together.

STEP 2:

Punch 2 small holes in back side of ring.

STEP 3:

Insert yarn, string, or ribbon into holes and tie. This gives the ring added stability. Wrap ends of fiber around ring 2-3 times and tie again in front.

STEP 4:

Add dimensional sticker on top side of ring. You can use a set of stickers or punches that are all alike or mix and match with your theme for a more eclectic look. Add adhesive foam circles to the back of flat stickers if extra dimension is desired.
