(Finished card size is 5 x 7).
Make a side-folding card by scoring a 10 x 7 inch piece of red cardstock in the middle of the ten inch side.
Adhere 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 piece of striped pattern paper to card front.
Using yellow paper from paper pad, punch out 2 extra large daisies, 1 large daisy, and 2 medium daisies. Ink around the edge of each using red chalk ink.
Adhere first extra-large daisy to second using 1/8” foam adhesive. Next adhere large daisy and then the two small daisies using permanent adhesive.
Punch small circle from red paper and adhere to center of flower using 1/16” foam adhesive. Set flower aside while you make the “leaves”.
Cut out two 1/2 inch strips approximately 9 inches long from green pattern paper. Add adhesive to back of strip and fold wrong sides together for each strip.
Use light green chalk ink on the edge of each strip. Fold end of each strip down at an angle to form “leaves”. Attach to back of flower.
Adhere flower with leaves to top portion of card.
Stamp sentiment with black ink on small strip of green pattern paper. Mat on red cardstock.
Tie half-knot in two small pieces of red ribbon and adhere to right side of strip. Adhere strip to lower portion of card.
Techniques: To give your flower a little extra dimension, pinch the petals on each of the flower shapes in the center.
