Try this fun and inventive way to display your child’s school pictures from year to year.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Glue two wooden stakes together. Let them dry completely and paint with yellow craft paint.
STEP 2:
Cut triangle from black cardstock, chalk for dimension, and adhere to back of stakes on pointed end.
STEP 3:
Cut a square from pink cardstock, round two end corners and add chalk for dimension.
STEP 4:
Cut a square from grey cardstock, apply chalk for details, and adhere to pink cardstock. Adhere total piece to opposite end of stakes.
STEP 5:
Paint chipboard letters with black paint for title and adhere to stakes.
STEP 6:
Screw two screw eyes to top of stakes and five to the bottom (equally spaced). String black ribbon through top screw eyes for hanging.
STEP 7:
Using 5 wooden cards, cover each with different colors of patterned papers from Photo Mat Pad. Drill two holes in top corners of each card. Punch 5/8 inch circles from cream paper and adhere over holes. Punch holes through center of each circle.
STEP 8:
Choose 5 school photos, round corners and embellish with scalloped punched corner pieces, small squares with the year displayed, and tabs with the grade on them. Adhere all pieces to fronts of cards. Add binder clips for extra interest to various cards.
STEP 9:
String black ribbon through holes in each card and through screw eyes on bottom of stakes. Tie each to hang from a screw eye.
