Create this eye catching card with side border accent colors that are re-emphasized within the card.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut a 9.5 x 7 inch strip of orange cardstock and score and crease at 5 inches.
STEP 2:
Punch the front right edge of the card with the scalloped edge punch.
STEP 3:
Cut 4 9/16 x 7 inch yellow gold rectangle from cardstock. Attach yellow gold rectangle behind scalloped edge of orange cardstock.
STEP 4:
Cut 4.75 x 7 inch brown rectangle from cardstock. Attach brown rectangle behind yellow gold rectangle.
STEP 5:
Cut 3 7/8 x 6 5/8 patterned paper piece and adhere to card front.
STEP 6:
Stamp floral frame onto orange cardstock with embossing ink and emboss with clear embossing powder.
STEP 7:
Cut out floral frame, including scalloped edges.
STEP 8:
Using a stamp positioner, stamp "Happy BDay" with brown dye ink in the center of a blue flower from flowered patterned paper.
STEP 9:
Cut out blue flower with happy birthday stamped in the center.
STEP 10:
Mount blue flower onto a brown cardstock circle.
STEP 11:
Run two pieces of ribbon around card as shown and adhere to the front, behind where floral frame assembly will be mounted.
STEP 12:
Adhere matted flower to orange embossed floral frame.
