Craft a fun invitation for your pool party or any summer gathering.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut a simple pocket style envelope from glittered wave paper, assemble.
STEP 2:
Cut a striped paper circle using a circle cutter to fit in the opening of the pocket envelope.
STEP 3:
Print party information on vellum.
STEP 4:
Glue two pieces of patterned paper together to make invitation heavier. The pink floral will be the front of the invitation.
STEP 5:
Attach vellum piece to invitation at the top only.
STEP 6:
Add a strip of green paper to the top of the invitation, wrapping around and adhering on the back.
STEP 7:
Punch holes in the invitation and add a strip of terry towel fabric. Use a piece cut from a new inexpensive wash cloth or terry fabric from a fabric store.
STEP 8:
Attach die-cut cardstock sunglasses to invitation.
STEP 9:
Embellish pocket envelope with tiles and stickers.
