Craft a fun party garland for your pool party or any summer gathering.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut large letters from specialty paper pad. These 8 inch letters were cut at a local public library using their die-cutting system.
STEP 2:
Cut large tags for each letter from specialty paper pad.
STEP 3:
Punch a 5/8 inch hole at the top of each tag. To make sure all the holes are cut exactly in the middle: make a template of your tag from scrap paper, fold the paper in half to find the middle, and punch the hole. Use this template on each of the tags.
STEP 4:
To create circles for the top of each tag: Punch a 5/8 inch circle in a piece of specialty paper. Holding 1 1/2 inch punch upside down, so you can see the placement, punch the 1 1/2 inch circle.
STEP 5:
Glue the circles to the top of each tag.
STEP 6:
Embellish each letter with stickers, gems, layered floral accents, etc.
STEP 7:
Tie the bandanas together to form the garland.
STEP 8:
Tie the letters along the garland with white ribbon.
