Instructions
STEP 1:
You will use the Halloween Whimsy Trick or Treat Chipboard Garland as your base for this project. For each panel on your garland, cut a piece of Green Swirl Glitter Paper 2 ½ inches x 3 ½ inches. Mat each of these pieces onto black cardstock and then adhere them to the front of each purple chipboard panel.
STEP 2:
For the panels without the “BOO” letters, cut a piece of paper from the Halloween Whimsy Web Flat Paper 1 ¾ inches x 2 ½ inches and adhere it to the center of the green patterned paper with 3D-dot strips. Complete each of these panels with skull and tombstone die-cuts.
STEP 3:
For the “BOO” panels, cut two strips of paper from the Halloween Whimsy Halloween paper 1 ½” wide for each pleated circle. Join the two strips together and cut it at approx 18” long. Scallop one edge of the strip. Accordion fold the strip between each scallop and glue the two ends together to form a circle. Using the hot glue gun, glue the center of the circle accordion to allow it to hold it’s circle shape.
STEP 4:
Using the hot glue gun, glue the accordion circle to the center of each panel. Attach a letter to the center of each of these accordion circles.
STEP 5:
Once you have finished decorating each panel, thread them onto the black ribbon. Finish the top of each panel with an orange bow tied through the holes in the panel. Cut a bone die-cut in half for each panel and attach it to the panel with 3D-dots so that it appears as if the orange ribbon has been tied around the bone.
STEP 6:
Cut pieces of black cardstock to cover up back of each panel where the original letters were die-cut.
