A Spotted Canary Project by Studio Pink

3 February 2012

Spread your wings and create a one-of-a-kind magical birthday party.  Capture the beauty of the garden on your table display.  Each element is handmade with love.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Punch a 2 1/2 inch circle from patterned paper. Using a standard office hole punch, make 2 holes on opposite sides of the circle.

STEP 2:

String ribbon through holes to tie to napkin.

STEP 3:

Cut one strip of patterned paper measuring 1 x12 inches. Fan fold or score the strips.

STEP 4:

Glue the ends together to form a bracelet.

STEP 5:

Glue the back of the gathered pleat to the 2 1/2 inch circle. Secure a 2 inch scallop circle to the top of the pleat.

STEP 6:

Punch a patterned paper butterfly and glue it to the 2 inch scallop circle.

STEP 7:

Stamp and chalk the word “Celebrate”. Cut it out and secure it in two places on top of the butterfly punch.

STEP 8:

Tie the napkin holder around your napkin.
