Bring a bit of the ocean into your home with this stunning altered mirror. Use this technique for other home decor themes too.
Instructions
STEP 1:
If you are using an unfinished frame, make sure to paint it first so the wood grain doesn’t show through the tissue paper.
STEP 2:
Remove mirror from frame. Spread glue on mirror frame. Lay tissue paper over, crumbling as you go. Let dry. Repeat.
STEP 3:
Trim excess paper and apply a final layer of glue to seal. Let dry.
STEP 4:
Wrap cording around frame. Tie in a square knot and add slip knots to cording tails.
STEP 5:
Apply stickers to frame, using foam adhesive to adhere some. Insert mirror.
