Let’s get organized without pinching our budgets. Create your own scrapbook paper organizer with items you may already have. This could be a great project for teens organize their room or for your office supplies at work.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Choose 3 sizes of boxes for your scrap paper. You will need small, medium and large boxes.
STEP 2:
Use a pencil to mark a 4 inch line on the largest cereal box, a 3 inch line of the medium sized dog treat box, and a 2 inch line on the Wasa cracker box as shown below in the photo.
STEP 3:
Create 2 diagonal lines coming from the marks on step 2.
STEP 4:
Use a craft knife or scissors to cut away the top sections of the boxes.
STEP 5:
Spray paint the inside of the boxes with your favorite colors.
STEP 6:
Add patterned paper to the outside of the boxes and embellish with trim.
STEP 7:
Label the boxes with office tags.
STEP 8:
Create a placemat for the boxes to rest on.
STEP 9:
Use a scrap piece of chipboard measuring 9 x 9.
STEP 10:
Cover the square with pattern paper. Add ball trim around it and now you have a pretty mat to set your boxes on.
STEP 11:
Time to organize your paper!
