Capture Springtime in this shadowbox made of memorabilia from the past.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Choose 2 pattern papers. One paper for the lid of the box and the other for the base.
STEP 2:
Score the papers using the scoring board. I used 12 x 12 paper and scored it at 3 and at 9 for the base of the box.
STEP 3:
For the lid, I scored it at 3 and 9 1/8, making sure to pay attention to the arrow when I lined up the paper on the scoring board
STEP 4:
Once the lid was scored, I cut out the square window that measured 5 x 5.
STEP 5:
Then, I creased, cut the flaps, and constructed the box. I glued the lid to the base of the box.
STEP 6:
I wrapped lace around the seam of the box and the lid.
STEP 7:
Inside the box, I secured an old postcard, bird’s nest with eggs, and a floral stem.
STEP 8:
Inside the box, I secured an old postcard, bird’s nest with eggs, and a floral stem.
STEP 9:
I glittered the eggs before I glued the nest inside the box. Then, I added the stickers and words. I also added a lace bow to the top of the box.
STEP 10:
Last, I put the knobs on the box to make it stand.
