Everyone loves movies, and a Movie Night party is a great idea for birthdays or get togethers for kids or adults! This adorable invitation will help set the stage for your party right from the beginning!
Instructions
STEP 1:
Print out the related templates and begin with a 4 x 6 inch card from ivory cardstock. Trim the popcorn bucket shape from card according to template instructions. Set trimmed card base aside.
STEP 2:
Use the card base template to trim another popcorn bucket shape from a single thickness of ivory cardstock.
STEP 3:
Following the template, trim red and ivory stripes from cardstock and adhere to the front of the popcorn bucket shape. Striped pieces will be slightly longer than the popcorn bucket base, which will allow you to use a corner rounder (with the corner guard removed) to create a scalloped top edge.
STEP 4:
Punch 7 flowers from ivory cardstock. Follow the technique in the related video to color these flowers into popcorn pieces using chalk markers.
STEP 5:
Adhere popcorn pieces to the back of the striped popcorn bucket piece as shown. As you align your popcorn pieces, be sure that the assembled card is not too tall to fit into your 4 x 6 inch envelope. Adhere assembled popcorn bucket to the front of your trimmed card base and add party details to the inside.
