A heart punch can become a mouse, a flower, or even a bird by simply adding punched shapes or embellishments like whiskers, a beak, or a stem. Experiment with your heart punch and see what you can create!
Instructions
STEP
1:
Cut patterned paper “XOXO” design into 2 strips approximately 1 inch wide

Arrange on card according to sketch
STEP

Using the heart adhesive border, place it above the “XOXO” patterned paper. Trim off excess border and place on with foam tape
STEP
4:
To create a mouse from the punched heart shape, punch a white cardstock heart for the body. Using the small scallop circle punch, punch out 2 circles for ears. Cut a snip in the circle to its center. Coil the circle so it is slightly cone shaped. Punch 2 small pink cardstock circles for the center of the ears

5:
Add googly eyes and black embroidery floss whiskers. Place a pink circle for the mouse’s nose.
STEP
6:
Add a tail by using a flourish punch. Cut it to remove one of the flourishes. Add a pink bow to the tail. Place the mouse on the card on top of the last heart to the right
STEP
7:
Add 2 chipboard photo corners on opposite corners and spell out the word “LOVE” using glitter stickers.
