I think handmade gifts are the best kind of gifts because they come from the heart. Just as much as I love to create something personalized, I also love to receive it. I enjoy knowing that what I made or received was created by hand, is unique and one of a kind. I enjoy the creativity and the investment of time to make that special something for a friend. Monogrammed gifts are one of my favorite ways to personalize the project for the recipient.
You can create something from scratch or alter a store bought item to make the perfect housewarming, baby, birthday or holiday gift. For example, I took a simple pair of dish gloves and a few dish clothes and added fabric, ribbon and some cute stamps to make a housewarming gift for a friend. You could apply this same idea to a tote bag for a children’s gift or a travel case for toiletries.
Other items you could monogram might include a desk set for a student or at home office. Stockings for Christmas or gift card holders for any occasion could be monogrammed. The possibilities are limitless, so let your creativity run wild and create custom monogrammed gifts for everyone on your list.
