Tuck treats into this ornament for a sweet added surprise to your Christmas tree decor.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut a 4.5 inch circle from the pink stocking pattern paper. Shape into a cone and secure with adhesive.
STEP 2:
Punch holes in sides at top and tie a 10 inch length of thin green ribbon into each.
STEP 3:
Cut a 1 inch strip of candy cane pattern long enough to span the ornament. Glue and trim ends.
STEP 4:
Cut a 12 x 0.75 inch strip of green polka dot pattern paper. Score every 0.25 inch and accordion fold entire strip. Glue short ends together.
STEP 5:
Punch a 1.125 inch circle from white cardstock. Cover with hot glue and form folded medallion on circle while glue is still hot and pliable. Hold until set.
STEP 6:
Punch a 1.125 inch circle from pink cardstock. Apply glitter glue to edges and cover with tourmaline glitter. Let dry and seal with more glitter glue. Once dry, add a small punched white cardstock circle on top.
STEP 7:
Punch a snowflake from green cardstock. Spread glitter glue all over punch. Cover punch with peridot glitter and let dry. Spread glitter glue over punch to seal glitter. Attach glittered snowflake to white cardstock circle with foam adhesive.
STEP 8:
Hot glue completed medallion to cone as shown. Add a pink ribbon bow to the snowflake’s center.
