Instructions
STEP 1:
Front Cover: Cover with patterned paper. Cut a piece of blue patterned paper measuring 4.25 x 3.25 inches and adhere about .5 inch from bottom of cover. Cut a piece of striped patterned paper measuring 2.25 x 3.75 inches and adhere in the upper right corner of the front cover. Adhere picture under chipboard frame and adhere to the front cover and using the adhesive pearls frame to top corner of the chipboard frame. Apply “SPECIAL” rub on to the bottom of your striped mat. Adhere the chipboard word “LOVE” and place “TOGETHER” sticker under it. Cover the back cover with patterned paper. For the ribbons, stretch a rubber band around the spine of the book and tie ribbon pieces until it is full.
STEP 2:
Page 1 & 2: Cover pages with patterned paper. Cut a piece with deckle scissors measuring 3.5 x 6 inches and adhere on the far left side of page 2. Sand the edges so it matches the shape of your book. Adhere 4 x 6 inch photo across both pages, splicing in the center. Tie ribbon to the top of a journaling tag and adhere the chipboard word “US”. Journal then attach the tag on the far left side of the photo.
STEP 3:
Page 3: Cover page with patterned paper. Cut a piece from brown patterned paper measuring 2.5 x 4.5 inches and adhere about .5 inch from bottom of page. Use a journaling tag and adhere about .5 inch from the inside of the page. Adhere photo. Place dimensional sticker on lower left corner of photo mat.
STEP 4:
Envelope Inclusion: Fold the long envelope in half and embellish with rub ons and photos. To attach this envelope slip it under the rubber band that goes thru the center of the book.
STEP 5:
Page 4: Cover page with patterned paper. Cut a piece of patterned paper measuring 5.25 x 3.5 and adhere it at the top of the page in the center. You will need to sand the edges or trim to match the shape of the book. Attach a journaling card and photo. Add a chipboard embellishment if you choose.
STEP 6:
Page 5: Cover the page with patterned paper. Cut a piece of striped paper measuring 2 x 4.5 inches and adhere across the top of the page—once again you may have to sand or trim the paper to match the shape of the book. Cut a piece of blue paper 2 x 4 inches and adhere to the left hand side of the page under the striped paper, sand or cut to match shape. Cut a piece of green paper 2.5 x 4 inches and adhere to the right side of the page under the striped paper. Use the rub on corner around the top of your photo and adhere pearls on top of rub on. Place a rub on across the bottom of the photo and adhere with adhesive foam circles to the center of the page so it lines up with the corner rub on.
STEP 7:
Last Page: Cover page with patterned paper. Adhere a journaling square about .75 inch from top across the page. Adhere photo and add sticker along side of photo.
