Saving the lid to a candy box and restyling it into a whimsical shadowbox fit for a pair of love birds is easy and fun to create.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cover the inside and the outside of the candy box lid with pattern paper.

STEP 2:

Place the border sticker leafy vine inside the box using foam tape to secure it.

STEP 3:

Add Grand Adhesion Acetate stickers to look like flowers on the border vine

STEP 4:

Cut the love birds from the border packet and tuck them into a Grand Adhesion Acetate flower

STEP 5:

Cut the word “Live” from the pattern paper

STEP 6:

Place the word “Laughter” and “Each Day” from the embossed sticker sheet under the word “Live” using foam tape

STEP 7:

Cut a butterfly from the border stickers and tuck behind the bottom Grand Adhesion Acetate flowers

STEP 8:

Use the powdering tool to remove the adhesive off the back of the border sticker scallops

STEP 9:

Using decorative scissors cut a scalloped edge from the pattern paper and place along the sides of the lid.

STEP 10:

Add the scalloped border to the top section of the box and to the bottom section of the box

I am not very patient waiting for glue to dry. Use laundry wooden clothespins to hold your paper in place while it is drying. This allows you freedom to work on other projects!
