A leaf and a stem made from Perler Beads turn a plain red pom-pom into an apple sure to please any teacher!

Instructions

STEP 1:

Wrap red yarn around 5 inch cardboard square numerous times. Cut small length of red yarn and slide under one side of wrapped yarn tying in a knot.

STEP 2:

Slide yarn off cardboard and tie other side in with a tight knot.

STEP 3:

Cut loops with scissors.

STEP 4:

Use green Perler Beads to create leaf and tan to create stem.

STEP 5:

Cover with ironing paper and iron until fused.

STEP 6:

Trim yarn bug into the shape of an apple.

STEP 7:

Using a combination of hot glue and craft glue adhere the Perler Bead leaf and stem to the yarn bug.

STEP 8:

Let dry overnight.
