A Spotted Canary Project by TracyB

27 April 2009

The possibilities are endless when decorating a plain text book cover. Cover it for a specific class, or detail it with stickers of some favorite things. When covering the book, be sure to cut the Kraft paper larger than the dimensions of the book so it can be wrapped around to the inside cover to protect the edges of the book.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Cover book with grocery bag or Kraft paper.

STEP 2:

Cut a large bright blue frame from cardstock. Ink edges with black. Adhere to front cover.

STEP 3:

Draw the shape of a science beaker, cut out, color and ink edges with black ink. Adhere to book as shown.

STEP 4:

Apply stickers and rub ons randomly around cover.

STEP 5:

Adhere chipboard letters to spell "Science".
