Use your imagination to design and create these cute and functional barrettes using Perler Beads.
Instructions
STEP 1:
Assemble beads on pegboard according to picture shown or create your own design.
STEP 2:
Place ironing paper over beads and iron for about 10 seconds, moving iron in a circular motion. Let cool.
STEP 3:
Attach bead designs to barrette bases with monofilament.
STEP 4:
If your beads seem a bit wobbly, iron the top of the design quickly and lightly after it’s attached to the barrette. Don’t forget the ironing paper. Parental supervision while ironing is strongly recommended.
STEP 5:
CAUTION: Fusing the beads with an iron requires adult supervision! Make sure the iron is NOT on the steam setting before beginning.
