Children will have fun learning about George Washington Carver during Black History Month with this “nutty” project!
Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut five bread slices from cardstock and assorted patterned papers.
STEP 2:
Sponge brown ink on all the edges.
STEP 3:
Cut felt “peanut butter” and glue to the front of the book.
STEP 4:
Print facts about George Washington Carver on cardstock, trim, and attach to the pages of the book.
STEP 5:
Embellish book with star stickers.
STEP 6:
Punch a small hole in each page and tie together with a ribbon.
