A Spotted Canary Project by CorrineMB

29 March 2010

Small children will love playing with shapes, assembling a series of punched circles and ovals to create this adorable and easy Easter bunny card.

Instructions

STEP 1:

Create card base by cutting white cardstock to 11 x 4 1/2 inches and folding in half. The fold will be on the top of the card.

STEP 2:

Cut yellow cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4 inches and adhere to the center of the card front.

STEP 3:

Cut a strip of green cardstock to 4 x 1 inch and snip into it at regular intervals, creating “grass.” Adhere to the bottom of the card front, as shown.

STEP 4:

From tan cardstock, punch two large circles and four ovals. From white cardstock, punch two medium circles. From pink cardstock, punch one oval.

STEP 5:

Cut pink oval in half to create insides for ears. Assemble punched pieces to form bunny as shown and adhere to card front, tucking into “grass” fringe.

STEP 6:

Add google eyes and a pink triangle for a nose. Draw dots onto face for whiskers.
