Instructions
STEP 1:
Cut black cardstock into a square that measures 8 inches by 8 inches.
STEP 2:
Cut white cardstock into a square that measures 7 3/4 inches by 7 3/4 inches. Place the white cardstock on top of the black cardstock and glue it.
STEP 3:
Cut the red Mickey face patterned paper to 4 inches by 7 3/4 inches. This piece is a pocket to hold hotel keys, postcards, or receipts from your “magical adventure.” To make the pocket, glue the red patterned paper along the bottom of the sheet and on both sides. DO NOT glue the top of the paper.
STEP 4:
Cut the Mickey icon patterned paper into a strip and secure it along the bottom of the pocket.
STEP 5:
Punch a decorative border from yellow cardstock and secure above the Mickey icon patterned paper.
STEP 6:
Using the 2 1/4 inch circle punch, create 4 circles and secure each one above the red pocket. Outline the circles with a black pen. Cut the circles if you would like only half to show.
STEP 7:
Add the sticker “Mickey Mouse” to one of the circles. On another circle, place 3 star stickers and gems in their center.
STEP 8:
Mat your photos on yellow cardstock. Then cut 2 additional mats for them from black cardstock and blue patterned paper. Place the mat on your layout with foam tape. The pocket won’t open where this mat is placed.
STEP 9:
Secure the postcard sticker to the red pocket. Place the car and suitcase sticker on the postcard using foam tape.
STEP 10:
Create journaling sticks by cutting 2 black cardstock strips. Add to the top of each strip a large circle for Mickey’s head and 2 smaller circles for Mickey’s ears. Cover the circles with patterned paper if you desire. Write your journaling on white cardstock and secure it to the sticks.
