A Spotted Canary Project by Crafty Koala

12 October 2009

Your little princess will be the Belle of the Ball with this adorable, sparkling princess mask!

Instructions

STEP 1:

NOTE: For safety, parents should perform all steps involving a hot glue gun.

STEP 2:

Cut a mask shape from the white chipboard. Apply Glittering Glue to the front of the mask and add the coarse glitter. Set aside to dry. (Note: while the mask is still wet from the glittering glue, slightly bend it in the center to give it a rounded shape to fit a child’s face).

STEP 3:

Remove the decorative swirls from the Tiara sticker and glue them to the mask when the glittering glue is dry with a small amount of glue from the hot glue gun.

STEP 4:

Paint the wood dowel white and set aside to dry. Cut the pink and white ribbons into several lengths approximately 7 inches long and hot glue them to the top of the dowel. Hot glue a small piece of the feather boa to the top of the towel. Finish off the center of the feather with a button. Add one of the jewels to the center of the button.

STEP 5:

Attach the store-bought crown to the back of the mask along the top edge with the hot glue gun. To finish off the mask add feather boa along the front of the crown and add colored jewels to the front of the crown.
